Constellations, 2026
Inspired by HA Rey’s The Stars: A New Way to See Them, 1952. This beautiful book simplifies the vast knowledge of the cosmos into information that is more portable, teachable, and democratic. Rey redraws the constellations into completely revised pictographs, simply by reconnecting the lines between the stars. The resulting works titled Night Sky Maps to Fold in Pocket are large dyed and manipulated Sekishu paper constellation maps with goauche and handprinting. To be carried as navigational guides.
